Geraldine Grier counsellor

Helping people has always been my passion. I became interested in counselling in 2001 and after 5 years of intense studying I feel I can offer clients a wide range of knowledge.

I began my counselling studies at the University of Leicester, where I attained a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling in 2003. In 2006 I qualified as a Therapist when I completed an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy . I have worked as a Counsellor in Mind, the Pastoral Counselling Centre and Campbell House in Northampton where I have helped clients with relationship, anger, low self-esteem, anxiety, bereavement and stress issues.

In my integrative approach to counselling I combine my Humanistic and Psychodynamic skills to provide a confidential and professional service to help my clients move on with their life. The counselling process will involve you exploring both your current concerns and past experiences. This will in turn allow you to implement changes in the way you do things, give you clarity to see a way forward and help you become more self-sufficient – therefore enabling you – to take steps forward to reach a much happier and more fulfilling life.

“I provide a caring service that offers you the opportunity to start your journey of discovery, growth and achievement”.
